We require all first time guests to arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled workout. This will give us time to get you set up in our system, go over your fitness goals, review your injury history, tour the facility, and give you an explanation of what to expect in class so you can have the best experience possible.
This is our strictest policy so, please, don’t be late!

WHAT TO BRING / WEAR?
Leave all the thinking to us. Once you walk through the lab door we handle everything. All you need to bring for any class is comfortable workout clothing and shoes to run in.
We provide waters, bars, gum, towels, and even hair ties if you need them!
WHAT ARE THE CLASS SIZES?
HIIT – We limit our class size to 20 people. With two trainers in every class you can expect more attention to detail and personal training than any other group format boutique studio.
HIIT YOGA – We limit this class to 15 people.
HIIT – The increase in floor space at this location allowed us to increase the maximum class size to 24 without overcrowding. You can still expect the same attention to detail and personalized coaching with two trainers in every class.
CYCLE – We limit our class size to 20 riders, creating a more personalized experience. You won’t get lost in the crowd.
YOGA – We keep the yoga class size to no more than 35 people.
DO YOU HAVE RENTAL EQUIPMENT?
We have rental equipment available for all class types at both locations. Below is list of equipment and the classes you can use them for.
Heart Rate Monitor $5 – all classes
Boxing Gloves $5 – HIIT BoX
Cycle Shoes $3 – SYNC Cycle, POWER Cycle, and Ride & Flow classes
Yoga Mat $5, all yoga classes
Yoga Towel $3, all yoga classes
WHERE CAN I PUT MY BELONGINGS?
At our Heights location, we have lockers available for use at no charge.
At our Uptown location, we have cubbies inside the studio available for use at no charge.
DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?
At our Uptown location we have two women’s and two men’s showers.
At our Heights location we have three women’s and two men’s showers.
We offer towel service and provide many bathroom amenities to help you get ready and take on the day.
DO YOU HAVE A REFERRAL PROGRAM?
We think of referrals as your own personal accountability partners. It’s hard to go it alone and the more you refer the more likely you are to achieving your goals.
For every active member you refer, you will receive $10 off your membership per month! You can refer and receive up to a free membership!
To receive the $10 credit, each referral’s account must be active and in good financial standing. You will receive the $10 credit on the next bill date after the referral’s account activates. You cannot earn money through this program.
WHAT FITNESS LEVEL IS REQUIRED TO DO YOUR WORKOUTS?
Our trainers coach to target heart rate zones in each class. It doesn’t matter how you get to your target heart rate. It only matters that you do.
For instance, if the target heart rate is 80%, there may be 5 people who are power walking, 10 people who are jogging, and 5 people who are running. And they are all around 80% target heart rate.
This method of coaching ensures that we can accommodate all fitness levels and experience.
If you have any injuries or physical history, please alert the training staff so that they may make custom adjustments to the exercises of the day.
I HAVE A PRIOR INJURY, ARE YOUR WORKOUTS MODIFIABLE?
If you have an injury, please let the training staff know ahead of time. Depending on the severity of the injury and the training staff’s best judgement, they will recommend whether or not you should participate and do their best to modify the workout accordingly.
What are your cancellation policies?
Class Cancellation Policy
Empower Fitness Lab requires a 4 hour advance notice for all class cancellations. Empower Fitness Lab charges cancellation fees for the most popular class times. Please check with the front desk to get an up to date list of classes. Below are the three types of cancellations and the associated charges.
Early Cancellation $0 - A call or email was received any time prior to 4 hours before the scheduled class start time.
Late Cancellation $10 - A call or email was received less than 4 hours prior to the scheduled class start time.
No Show $20 - No call or email was received prior to the scheduled class start time.
Membership Cancellation Policy
Empower Fitness Lab requires all Members to give a 30-day notice for all membership contract cancellations. Members who wish to cancel their membership must complete a Cancellation Request Form. Verbal cancellation requests will not honored. Each cancellation request form must be reviewed by management before approval is granted.
The effective cancellation date is 30 days from the Cancellation Request Forms submission date.
The Member will be responsible to pay any membership dues and/or outstanding balances due on or before the effective cancellation date.
The Member will have 30 days from the date of the final EFT to use any unused sessions. After 30 days from the final EFT, any unused sessions will be forfeited.
Cancellation Example - (Member Billed on the 15th of every month)
A Member submits their Cancellation Request form AFTER January 15th → One additional billing cycle will occur on February 15 (Set membership to cancel on March 14)
A Member submits their Cancellation Request form BEFORE January 15 → Last EFT billing will be January 15 (Set membership to cancel on February 14)
Membership Hold Policy
Empower Fitness Lab requires all Members to give at least 48 hours notice for all membership contract holds. Memberships cannot be placed on hold retroactively. Members who wish to put their membership on hold must complete a Hold Request Form. Verbal hold requests will not honored. Each hold request form must be reviewed by management before approval is granted.
A membership may be put on hold once per calendar year without incurring fees
Second Hold - Member's account will be charged $25 per month
Third Hold - Member's account will be charged $50 per month
The minimum hold duration is one month
The maximum hold duration is two months
The Member's account must be in good standing and have a zero balance before the hold becomes effective.
Membership Cancellation While On Hold Policy
Should a Member wish to cancel their membership while it is on hold they must complete and submit a Cancellation Request Form.
The effective cancellation date for a membership on hold is the later of:
30 days from the expiration of the hold
30 days from the Member's submission of the Cancellation Request Form
